The Rotary Club of Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates Charitable Foundation, Inc. was incorporated in January 1995 as an Illinois not-for-profit corporation and operates exclusively for charitable purposes as a 501(c)(3) public charity. The Foundation works in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates to receive gifts and make grants that benefit our community.
The Foundation exists to receive charitable gifts, manage those resources responsibly, and direct funding toward programs and projects that improve lives. Foundation support focuses especially on youth, education, and seniors, with emphasis first on the Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates area and then on broader charitable efforts consistent with Rotary’s mission.

The Foundation is governed by a Board elected by members of the Rotary Club of Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates. Its role is to steward gifts, oversee investments, and ensure funds are used in alignment with the Foundation’s charitable objectives.

Building the unrestricted endowment strengthens the Foundation’s ability to serve over the long term. It creates a permanent financial base that can generate income year after year, helping the Foundation continue supporting scholarships, service projects, and community needs with greater stability and flexibility.
